Bluezone is an application that uses low energy Bluetooth technology, warning if users have close contact with people infected with Covid-19, helping to reduce the risk of spreading the epidemic in the community. According to statistics of the Computerization Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, as of 12 am on 27/7/2020 Bluezone application has more than 256,000 users and the number of users is increasing rapidly over each hour.
Along with Bluezone, NCOVI is also one of more than 20 IT applications and systems that has been developed and put into use by the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Ministry of Information and Communications in Covid-19. This is an application to support voluntary health declaration for the entire population, introduced by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Information and Communication from March 9, 2020.
The Ministry of Health and Information and Communications recommend that the entire population use the NCOVI application to provide information to support the health sector in order to find out cases to pay attention to ensure active prevention and control of epidemics. According to statistics, as of 12pm on 27/7/2020, the total number of downloads of NCOVI's voluntary voluntary medical declaration application has reached over 7.2 million.
