• Foreigners and Vietnamese holding foreign passports entering, exiting or residing in Phu Quoc Island are exempt from visa for a maximum stay of 30 days, provided that they come to Vietnam (including by sea and airline) from a country other than Vietnam. In the case of visitors entering an international border gate of Vietnam and staying in the transit area at that border gate before transferring to Phu Quoc island, they are also exempt from entry visas.
• If you are exempt from Vietnam visa, you only need to submit your original passport valid for at least 6 months from the time of entry.
• The visa approval letter is only valid at the airport, so visitors need to apply for a visa at the Embassy if entering Vietnam by land or sea.
